Robert Consoletti is a 67-year-old Milford native who after years of heartbreak and blank memories says he now finds happiness in his "companion" - his guitar. On Nov. 5, 2021, Consoletti played guitar for a small group of eighth graders in front of a downtown 7-Eleven.

Consoletti disappeared from the downtown Milford area over the winter months but re-emerged after a stay at Milford Regional Hospital. He was admitted with a foot infection but then requested a discharge, March 25, 2022.

After requesting a discharge from Milford Regional Hospital, Consoletti waited in vain for a public bus outside the hospital. Hospital security called the Milford Police who resolved the situation by giving Consoletti a lift to his Water Street home, March 25, 2022.
Playing a different guitar and with a new haircut, Robert Consoletti of Milford was back in downtown Milford on March 25, 2022. Consoletti, 67, is a 1972 graduate of Milford High School. The self-taught musician also rolls his own cigarettes.
